A Year Ahead For Saving More (You Can Do It)

This is a new year and a new decade. It is my wish for you that you not allow “life” to get in the way of saving more money this year and putting together a specific plan to build emergency savings first, then begin regular investing to help pull your family up and build a better financial future.
It is so difficult to go through life without a plan and get ahead.
Most people fear they have to have someone to plan out their financial life for them to get ahead.
If your plan has to begin with the reduction of credit card debt and the establishment of a correct emergency savings fund for 2010, GREAT! You can do it faster than you think!
Our advice on a proper emergency savings fund for 2010 is different. We believe you should work to establish 15 to 18 months of expenses in savings (usually money market savings accounts in FDIC-insured institutions).
Make this your year for:
1. Negotiating on every purchase.
2. Saving money with every paycheck.
3. Developing your own personal education about saving and investing.
4. Reducing and then eliminating credit card debt.
5.Beginning a regular and automatic investing plan to propel your family wealth.
If you want someone in your fan club, come back to our blog. We believe (and know) you can do it!
This is your year for saving more and getting your life on track with your own plan to save and invest better in 2010.
HELPING YOUR KIDS GET AHEAD
In this country we don’t do enough to teach our children about money, managing money, saving regularly (and automatically), compound interest and steady investing for a long-term future. As a parent, we are always concerned that they get a good education and go to a good college so they can make a lot of money or have a valued career path. The truth is that we could do our children the biggest favor and one of the best things by sharing with them sound saving and investing principles.
You can join our free Facebook group (or have your children do it, too) by searching in the Facebook bar on your “wall” for “Live The Lifestyle Your Family Deserves.” Click on “become a fan.” It’s free and it ties our free blogs into that group.
If you want to give your children the same information we are giving ours, you can purchase the only thing we sell on any of our blogs or groups. It’s called “How To Survive Any Financial Crisis” and you can get it for only $4.95 at www.middleclassmoney.com.
Thank you for reading our blog and good luck!
